So, last night I went to a
grad house party, and the theme was to wear bright colours to warm up the winter. Since I hadn't planned on anything fun this term, it was a bit of a struggle to find something that could work in my warddrobe, but I hope that the following outfit embodied the theme:
Orange Jane Norman dressPink cardigan from Terminal D
I actually really like this combination!
A close up of my face... >_<I'm only wearing eyeliner and some L'Oreal Infaillable Goldmine eyeshadow.I'd like to learn how to do more than just eyeshadow and liner...!
The camera cut out my shoes! :(
The radiator was too warm so I couldn't sit on it for too long!
Shoes <3
I'm actually really pleased with this combination as I never thought pink/purple and orange could go together. Also, I think the night went really well too! I met lots of new people and finally got to hang out with my lovely lab mates outside of the department! :)

It sounds like you had a fun time! :'D
Thank you hun! Yeah, it was really nice! :D
Deletehaha I think you did well for a bright colours theme! the orange dress with the socks was just enough "bright" without going overboard. I'm glad you had a great time that night! :D

Yeah, I was totally worried about the colours clashing, so I am glad it worked out hehe! :)
DeleteThe orange dress looks really nice on you! You look very elegant and put together, even though the colors in your outfit are so bold. Glad to hear you had a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks hun! I was actually the most dolled up person there ~ which was a complete shock/surprise to my system!
DeleteVery cute combination. :D I would never think to put pink and orange together either. Glad you had a fun night out.
ReplyDeleteI have lots of coloured pens that I use to write on my lecture notes so now I'm going to keep an eye out for other strange colour combinations! :D
Deletethats a very beautiful dress!!! would have loved to see the dress better without your cardigan though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. Ahh, I didn't think about that ~ but this is the dress: http://i2.ztat.net/large/J/2/J2721C004-702@2.1.jpg
